So here is what we did.
Brian's mom and sister came up to visit the weekend before Christmas and we had a lot fun with them.
We got bundled up and went sledding.
Look how cute Joshua looks in his snow clothes
Poor Minna looks slightly ridiculous in hers though.
A friend told me about this place you could go and see some Christmas lights and there were a few small rides. We had to ride a school bus to get from the parking lot to the event, and I am pretty sure that was Joshua's favorite part. He still talks about riding on the school bus.
Then we went to the bounce house at the mall. Joshua loved the slide, that is all he did the whole time.
Christmas was alot of fun too. Brian lucked out and Christmas was on one of his days off, so we didn't have to do any funky scheduling. For Christmas eve I made a big dinner, and I am pretty sure I cooked more for Christmas Eve than for Thanksgiving. It was yummy.
Christmas morning was alot of fun with the kids. Joshua is obsessed with trains so Santa brought him a train table.
Minna quite enjoyed the wrapping paper that was all over the place.
And Brian got socks from his Grandma. How great is that.
Christmas really is better with kids. And Joshua helps keep the Christmas spirit going with occasional Christmas songs and every time he sees a star its "A Star like Jesus Born" and all castles are "Castle for Santa Clause". Merry Christmas.

Looks like a fun Christmas! And now, leave winter! please? :)
