It finally snowed in New York. It seemed like everyone got snow before we did, but once we got it we went to play in it.
Well some of us played, and some of us had to move the snow.
Joshua had been begging to go sledding for a while and he finally got to go.
And Minna enjoyed sledding for the first time in her life. She sledded last year and hated it, but this year she thought it was fun.
A different day the kids went out and scooped up the snow and put it in buckets. It is like the biggest sandbox ever, and the best part is the "sand" on the clothes melts right off.
The chickens are enduring the snow, but are learning how to manage it. The snow is helping settle down the roosters because they can't act like they are hot stuff when they are trudging through the snow.
Red is loving the snow, I have seen him romping around in it several times. But of course when I get the camera out he just looks at me and acts all boring.
The kids are loving the snow as long as it stays warm enough that they can go outside and play in it.
