The big kids are having a little bit of a hard time adjusting to Miriam getting bigger and playing with "their" toys. We are working on teaching them that most toys are for sharing, especially things that Miriam can't get hurt playing with and can't break. One thing Miriam has found a great interest in is some white bunnies that each kid has one. When she grabbed one the other day I didn't think too much about it the big kids haven't played with them for months. But once they resurfaced they became the most important toy ever, and they will hardly let Miriam get near them.
This morning they were hiding in Joshua's bedroom, and Miriam was with me in Minna's bedroom. She found the bunnies and was elated. Then the big kids came out looking for Miriam and calling for her. She started toddling towards them, then realized she had a bunny in her hand. She turned around and toddled as fast as she could to where she got the bunny, threw it in the pile of stuffed animals, grabbed her stuffed koala and walked over to see what they wanted. She was not going to let them catch her holding the bunny.
