Snow Day

Well this is actually the second snow day in two weeks.  And it takes a lot of snow and good timing to get a snow day in New York.  So we are getting quite the piles of snow.  Last week a belt went out on the snow blower but I was able to go out and shovel several times during the day, and a neighbor ploughed us out once, so it wasn't too bad.

This time most of the snow came at night, fortunately Brian had been able to fix the snow blower, because the snow was deep.

I took the kids out when Brian had blown most of the snow.  The first thing they all wanted were icicles.

 

This one has to use two hands on her icicles because it is too hard to get her thumbs where they belong in the mittens.

 

These guys love their icicles too.

 

I then went to dig out the mail box, and the littlest one went to work too.

 

And here is our snow mountain range.  We need it to melt some before we get any more snow, storing snow around here is getting a little ridiculous.  The kids do like climbing the snow mountains though.
