Halloween this year was really nice. We were invited by a couple of friends to go crash their neighborhood. We went to Joshua's friend's house first ate pizza and the kids ran around. We left Joshua there so he could go trick or treating with his friend and the older kids, we thought he would have more fun there than with the littler kids. Joshua was a ninja turtle.
Then we took the girls over to Minna's friend Myna's house and ate hot dogs and went trick or treating with her family and one other family. Since Halloween was on Saturday we were able to get going earlier and started when it was light. It was still dark and chilly when we got done, but not too bad, especially compared to other years.
Minna went as a cat.
Even though in this picture she looks annoyed, she actually had a lot of fun, and smiled and laughed a lot.
Miriam was a monster princess. Thanks to someone at truck or treat she got to have monster teeth for her picture too.
Earlier in the week for family night we painted pumpkins.
Brian's pumpkin was a monster with a snotty nose.
Joshua's was appropriately scary.
Here is Miriam's when I thought she was done. The girls just kept applying layers of paint and glitter over and over again.
