Tennessee Grandparents

The next Sunday all the Utah family flew home.  Brian and I did enjoy church with more adults than children.  The kids got to spend a couple of days with Tennessee Grandma and Grandpa, otherwise know as "Bob, definitely Bob" as Miriam calls him.

Sunday night we went to Saratoga Lake to watch the fireworks.  It gets dark really late here during the summer, so after the fireworks got over it was really late when we finally made it to bed, but it was worth it, and a lot of fun.

The next day was the Fourth of July.  I had considered going to the parade downtown, but after all that had been going on we decided to have an easy morning and then go to the lake.

When we got to the lake it was really busy, but people were starting to pack up and leave from their long weekend.  It ended up being nice and relaxing and a perfect finish to an exciting couple of weeks.

We made this sandcastle compound.
And we just enjoyed swimming in the lake.
Then the Tennessee grandparents had to go home too.  We had a lot of fun.
