She has learned how to walk and is starting to walk alot more than she crawls and is getting fast. She also thinks that every moment possible should be spent practicing walking. It made life a little interesting when we went to the county fair and she didn't want to sit in the stroller and watch the attractions, she would fuss to get out, and then insist on being put down (she insists very loudly), then she would leave or try to walk into the attraction.
Minna is a climber. She climbs onto things just because she can, and why go around something when you can go over.
Now that she is walking she wants to do almost everything Joshua does, and loves copying him.
Minna finds great joy in feeding Joshua (her hand to his mouth), or Joshua feeding her.
She has learned a new word Uh-Oh, and loves to drop things and utter the cutest "Uh-Oh" and after saying it that cutely we have to pick it up, so she can drop the object again.
Minna shares a room with Joshua at night and finds great pleasure in throwing things out of her crib so that Joshua will pick them up to give back to her.
One of her favorite things is playing in the wading pool.
She eats a ton (until the last couple of days), and she can say done, but she prefers to tell us she is done by throwing her food off of her tray.
Minna is starting to love stories and will bring books over to be read.
She can fold her arms for prayers and will do the motions to "I'm so glad when Daddy comes home".
Now that she can walk she loves to carry things around. But she must wish she has more hands or something because she will carry things in both hands, and sometimes she will put something in her mouth too. The thing in her mouth isn't to suck on, it just is a place to hold it.
Minna now has 6 teeth, but they come in the wackiest ways. She got her bottom two first like normal. Then she got 1 top tooth, and had only 3 teeth for about 6 weeks. Then she finally got the other top tooth. About a week later two more teeth popped through the top right tooth and the bottom left. It fits her personality doing things her way.
We love our Minna.
