2011 General Relief Society Meeting

Last week was the General Relief Society Meeting. It was a beautiful meeting and the spirit was so strong. It was especially great to be able to listen to our leaders and to be able to concentrate without wrestling kids.

Here are some of my favorite quotes. Julie B. Beck quoted Thomas S. Monson,"when we strive with faith nothing wavering to fulfill the duties appointed us, when we seek the inspiration of the Almighty in the performance of our responsibilities, we can achieve the miraculous."

I also loved the five forget-me-not's from President Uchtdorf.

2. Forget not the difference of a good sacrifice and a foolish sacrifice.
3. Forget not to be happy now.
4. Forget not the why of the gospel.
5. Forget not that the Lord loves you.

I am so grateful that we have prophets that can teach of Christ today, and I can't wait for my Ensign to show up so I will read these beautiful words again.
