Its fall in upstate New York, its beautiful, and its time to go to the pumpkin patch. We went for playgroup this last week.
We started out in a little corn maze, and then we got to go on a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch.
Minna was so excited to go pick out a pumpkin. She found a small one for Miriam and a big one for herself.
Miriam liked her pumpkin until she found some rocks she could hold her in hand. She didn't want anything to do with her pumpkin after that, and she stored that rock in the stroller until we went home.
Then the big kids went and rode the "Moo Moo Choo Choo".
After that we went to go to the giant jumping pillow. In years past Minna and Joshua have always held onto my hand for a while on this. Well Miriam is our little adventurous one. She held onto my hand just long enough to climb up onto it, then wiggled free and started sprinting around giggling the whole time. She didn't care when the big kids would jump and she would fall down, she would just get up and dart away. I don't have any pictures because I thought I would be busy helping her, and I ended up busy watching that she didn't get hurt again.
Then the kids got to go play in another area where they could choose their activities. Minna really liked the sandbox.
Miriam played in the sandbox for a while.
But then she found a giant spiderweb to climb on. That was really her cup of tea. (That is her in the middle).
When we got done there, we got to have apple cider and apple cider donuts. Yum. Fall really is the best.
