Stocking Fish

Minna's preschool got to go on a field trip to stock fish at a nearby lake.  It was a lot warmer than when Joshua went to do it, so that was nice. The girls started out in rain boots, but soon went barefoot. Eventually I joined them.  The water was pretty cool, but not so cold you couldn't go in barefoot.

The girls got a bucket of fish to dump into the lake.  Minna did the first three times, then Miriam finally got brave enough to do it.  Miriam was not a fan of the fish flopping and splashing around in the bucket. Here is Minna dumping her bucket of fish.

Really the girls just wanted to play in the lake.

When kids stopped putting fish in the lake, they squirted the rest out with a hose.  This was probably the most exciting part.
