After Joshua's surgery I started feeding him some of his old baby food that we have laying around. He can eat whatever he wants, but I was nervous at first. Anyway he started wanting to spoon feed himself, so I put the contents of the jar in a bowl. Then we had someone deliver something so I had to leave for a few minutes. I came back to this. 
He hasn't been this messy with food since we started feeding him.
