Going home from the hospital

Friday my doctors and Minna's doctors decided that we were all ready to go home. Because Minna is so small she had to pass a car seat test where she had to show that she could breath fine while sitting in the car seat. She passed.

When my kids are in the hospital I forget how small they are until we put them in the car seat. I thought Joshua was the NICU giant then I put him in the car seat and he looked tiny.

And then Minna was about a pound and a half smaller than Joshua was when he came home. She looked absolutely tiny in the car seat. She also wasn't thrilled about being in the car seat.

But we were able to bust out of the hospital with only one extra day.
