The kids were super excited and Red almost fed them more excitement. He would trot around which made the kids giddy, then he would stop to be petted which made the kids even more excited. Red is now just enjoying the overgrown lawn while it lasts.
Red is probably going to be lonely for a while especially for my mom's horse Turbo. Red and Turbo have lived together for 14 1/2 years, ever since we got Red. There has always been a rivalry between the two over who is top horse. A couple of weeks before Red left my mom began telling him that he was finally going to be reunited with me. She also warned Red that he would have to ride in a strange trailer for a long time. The last few days he was in Utah Red and Turbo were inseparable and they never fought, it was like they were saying their last goodbyes. When Red was picked up he just bravely went into the shipping trailer. Neither Red or Turbo whinnied at each other, which is saying something because a couple of weeks earlier my parents sold a horse, and when she got into a strange trailer all the horses had a fit. But Red and the other horses seemed mentally prepared for him to leave.
So hopefully he is happy here.

Yeah Red! Welcome to the neighbor.
