Trip to Tennessee-Easter Egging

The Tuesday we were in Tennessee Brian's mom invited Brian's cousins and their kids over to paint. eggs.

It was nice because there were plenty of adults to go around.  Minna loves having aunts to dote on her, and had Mackenzie taking care of her.  Minna made a lot of pink eggs.  Imagine that.

I helped Joshua out, he really liked using the crayons.  He mostly made me write his name on all of his eggs.
Brian and Miriam watched from above.
We were going to do an Easter egg hunt afterwards but it was still really cold and people had to go, so we did it the day after with just Joshua, Minna and Jacob.

Miriam was napping so she didn't hunt for eggs.  I had fun hiding this egg, it took the kids awhile and several hints to find it.

Here is the kids with their eggs.

Do you notice how Minna's is sagging.  She gathered most of the hard boiled eggs, while the boys found the lighter plastic eggs.  We had to do some switching around inside.  Jacob had all the eggs with candy in them, Joshua had most of the eggs with toys in them, and Minna had the eggs going back in the fridge.    They had a lot of fun.
