Trip to Tennessee-Visiting Friends

The first full day we were in Tennessee we headed to Chattanooga to visit our good friends the Hannons.  Chattanooga is about half way between Knoxville and where they live.  Before we met up with them I asked Joshua if he remembered Rowyn.  He kept saying he didn't, but after we met up with them, it was only a couple of minutes until they were holding hands and off and running.  Minna and Saige had different reactions.  Saige seemed slightly annoyed that Joshua was jeperdizing her Rowyn time, and Minna seemed put out that she couldn't boss Rowyn around. (Rowyn is one of the few people that doesn't feel compelled to bow to Minna's whims, and Minna couldn't figure out why).  We all had a good time.  First we went and go pizza.  Here are some of the kids as we are getting ready to leave.

Then we headed to the Children's Museum in Chatanooga.  The first exhibit was the water.  The kids had a blast here.

Both the Hannons and us brought a new adorable child that the other family hadn't met.

We then went and built this arch.

Then Brian told the kids they could knock it down.  I love what Rowyn does here.

Later we went to the theater exhibit.  Minna found this pink pig costume.  It was made so bizzare, with the whole head on top of her head, it kept falling over, but she loved it because it was a pink pig.

Then they found the face paint.

Brian helped Minna with hers.

One of the last places we visited was a bee exhibit.  Brian loved this one and was telling us all sorts of bee facts.  He also dressed Miriam up as a bee.

We had a blast with the Hannons, its too bad we don't see each other more often.
