One of the days we went to a Safari park. They have a bunch of exotic animals that you get to go see, pet, and feed. We all sat in this wagon pulled by a tractor.
We fed buffalo that you would just drop food onto their tongue.
One buffalo knew where all the stops were, and would take the shortcuts there, so he could get more food.
We got to pet and feed some zebras.
There were also water buffalo, that had learned the tongue trick from the bison, but they were a little bit slobbery.
Joshua tried to just pour the food in their mouths. We went through a lot of food this way.
Brian mastered the pouring. Lucky water buffalo.
They also had some smaller animals like various kinds of deer, elk, and llamas.
One of the llamas didn't think he was done when the wagon drove off, so he started chasing us. He came up along side and Jeremy held his bucket out so he could eat as he ran. But then we came to a puddle and he had to figure out a way around it, so he got behind and never could catch back up again. He made us all laugh.
At the end they had some ostriches. They were behind another fence, I think they are so mean that they wouldn't let them risk the chance of getting their heads in the wagon.
