Terry and Bob visiting

Terry and Bob came to visit this last week. Joshua did not act like last time they came, and let them play with him. Brian and I even got to go to dinner and to see Harry Potter with some friends and Joshua was super good for Terry and Bob. Brian was off for a couple of days so we were able to do some fun things with him too.

We went to the park.

We went swinging in the swings.

We went on a bike ride and we have this great trailer for Joshua to ride in. But he doesn't like his helmet. Here he is fighting to keep it from going on.

And even in the trailer he is trying to get it off.

Then we went swimming. We went to a pool in the Saratoga Spa State Park and it was just for kids, but that was fine. It was cold though. We thought it was hot, since the day we went was like the 3rd time this summer it has been over 80 degrees, but that doesn't make the water very warm. It took Joshua a while to get used to it, and I don't think he was so sure about having all that water around. He clung to me for a while.

But he eventually relaxed and started to play.

And he was so happy to get out and dry off.

Other than that we just hung out and Joshua was spoiled by his grandparents. His grandpa would give him rides on his shoulders and Joshua would stare at his head and wonder why there wasn't any hair there. We are glad that Joshua was friendly to his grandparents this time.
