This year for Halloween we all dressed up as Silly Super Heros. We got the idea when one day Minna insisted she wear underwear like Joshua. There was no way I was putting it on in lei of a diaper so I put it outside of her PJs. Add a cape and some boots and a Halloween costume is born.
Every time someone would ask Joshua what he was going to be for Halloween he would say "Silly Costume."Brian and I dressed up too.
We went to the trunk or treat at church. Joshua was so excited to go to a Halloween Party and had been looking forward to it all month. He would ask me every time someone who was dressed up would walk by, "Mom, is she silly?". Minna loved people watching. She actually behaved and stayed in her chair during dinner. Mostly because she was people watching. Minna also would give the evil eye to anyone who dared to talk to her.
The kids loved the trick or treat part. It was snowing so it was inside the church. Joshua wanted to run from room to room, but once someone put something in Minna's bucket she would stand there and stare at them expecting more.
Halloween is so great with the kids.
