For playgroup we were able to get in to the media invitation for the Polar Express. Basically they needed a whole bunch of cute kids in pajamas for the media to take pictures of. And what is cuter than kids in pajamas.
We didn't get to go anywhere in the train, but we actually got to get in the train car and get a free preview of what the Polar Express would be like.
We went with our friends K is the little boy who is in all the pictures with Joshua. They got to meet the conductor.
And they even got a ticket, that the conductor came around and punched, but not the speedy fast way they do it on the movie.
They got hot chocolate and cookies.
The staff even sang Christmas Carols.
Then Santa came by and gave them all a bell. Minna has lost hers, but Joshua still has his.
Then when we got off the train and lucked out and the kids got to meet Santa again. Joshua even sat on his lap.
Then on the way back to the train station an am-track train came through. The conductor and engineer waved at the kids and Joshua was so thrilled to see a real train actually going.
And for the end here is a clip that was on the local news. You get to see Joshua a little bit, and the other kids on the clip are all from our playgroup.
