Barrington Visit Part 5-Playing at home

We decided that we just needed to have a relaxing day at home for a change.  My family thought the kids would enjoy riding Red.  I still wasn't able to ride yet, and he hadn't been ridden since I was 8 weeks pregnant, so my dad lunged Red before anyone rode him.  Red gave a good show, he may be 18, but he still has some kick left in him.  Fortunately not as much as he used to have though.

Then Emily got on him to make sure he would behave.  He did, after all the yee hawing he did on the lunge line he remembered he was old and out of shape, so he was thrilled to just walk around.

Then the kids got to ride and they had alot of fun.

Then the family watched the two big kids so Brian, Miriam, and I could go on a date.  Three may be a crowd but less so than five.  We went and got me some new super comfortable shoes, and then barbeque for dinner.  The kids stayed home and played t-ball and read stories.
