The kids also liked to "float", where they would hold their arms in the air for an adult to hold onto, then they would put their legs out in front of themselves so they were a sitting position. Then we would pull them aroudn by their arms.
We also did some digging. Lots of digging.
Miriam sat contently on someone's lap the entire time. Just enjoying the shade of the umbrella. It was a really fun day.
