Minna at three

Minna turned three less than a month ago.  She was so excited when she figured out that she was three just like her friends.  Here are a few notes about her now.

• She is kind of introverted and playing with friends exhausts her.  She is more comfortable when Joshua is around to play too.  But she still loves her two best friends, and is fond of several others and will talk about them a lot.  She just needs to go to bed early after playing.
• She loves Dora the Explorer and Curious George.  She says Curious George super cute, she actually says lots of things really cute, with her Minna accent, but its not something I can really capture in words. 
• She is a funny mix between a girly girl and a tom boy.  She loves everything pink.  She sometimes loves princesses, but she doesn't like princess dresses.  When she dresses up she is usually some conglomeration of what Joshua is wearing, sometimes with a feminine flair. 
  
•  She can also get really dirty, and loves it. 

 

• She is kind of picky most of the time, but will randomly try things and surprise us.
• She still has a pretty good glare, she was born with it, and still uses it. 
• She is a really good big sister, most of the time, and watches out for her.  She will always tell us what Miriam wants.
• She loves to do things like puzzles, playdough, and coloring and stickers.  When Joshua is at school, in the few moments we are home, she is usually busy doing things like that.

We love our Minna.
